XDA is hiring writers, editors and reviewers – come join the team!

XDA is hiring! It’s a super exciting time to join the team as we thrive and add many people in a variety of roles to help us build the next generation of XDA. Over the past two years our team has grown in areas of coverage – we now cover more than Android and plan to grow even more – and in terms of great people, and now we’re looking for more great people to join our growing ranks!

Over the next few months, our coverage will expand beyond mobile (which we expanded to cover all things Apple in 2020) and computing (which we successfully launched last year), to home, car, games and more! We’ll be increasing the number of how-tos, how-tos, how-tos, and buying guides we write to help everyone better understand the products they own and the ones they plan to buy in the future.

All of this means that we have new full-time and senior positions to fill, as well as many freelance positions around the world in a multitude of fields. There’s never been a better time to join the XDA team, so let’s dive deeper into the key roles we have!

Full time roles:

Mobile section editor: Are you a mobile superstar? Do you know the industry like the back of your hand, are you based in the US with great contacts and connections, and eager to push XDA’s mobile coverage forward? Mobile has been the bread and butter of what we’ve been doing for years at XDA and this role gives you the opportunity to help shape the next generation of that coverage. We have big plans for mobile, which need a great leader and organizer to make them happen. See more and apply here!

News Editor: We are looking for someone great to help lead our global news coverage. The right person has in-depth knowledge of all areas of our coverage – including mobile, IT and home – and understands how to manage an efficient and fast news environment based on multiple time zones. If you have at least 3 years of experience in the technology industry, this position is for you! Independent roles:

Product reviewer: We are looking for several product reviewers to join our growing team. If you have experience reviewing technology and want to expand your portfolio/be part of the XDA team, we want to hear from you! You must be based in the United States and you must have experience in this role. We pay competitive rates per position and the right candidate could land a full-time, long-term position with us, so be sure to apply for this role now!

Chromebook/Chrome OS Writer: If you live and breathe all things Chrome, Chrome OS, and Chromebooks, we want you to help us expand our growing coverage of this budding ecosystem. The role will involve reviewing Chromebooks, writing guides to the wider ecosystem, and covering news, which could also lead to a full-time role in the future for the right candidate. Editor of editorial articles: Do you follow the news, do you have an opinion and do you want to have a platform to share these opinions? Are you comfortable with writing short and long forms, or do you want to provide a more in-depth analysis of a subject on which you are an expert?
