Like everyone, some brands and businesses thrive, while others fail sadly, but as the old saying goes, “if you don’t try, you’ll never know”.

“Four Brothers” actor Mark Wahlberg turned to the food industry and opened casual restaurant Wahlburgers in Hingham, Massachusetts. The adventure began with his two brothers, a fellow actor and, luckily, a chef.

The restaurant quickly became a popular channel and landed a TV show on A&E.

However, despite still having great success in America with its restaurants, the show ended in 2019 after 10 seasons, meaning the company’s plans to expand into Europe with a restaurant in Covent Garden, London, were short-lived.

Lindsay Lohan: Lohan’s Beach Club

Surely there’s no one in this world more qualified to open a club than actress and party girl Lindsay Lohan?

However, despite being known for its alcohol-induced antics, the party quickly died down at Lohan Beach House in Mykonos, Greece, closing 13 months after it opened in 2018.

The shutdown was sparsely followed by his MTV show about the club which was also canceled after one season. We guess some people should really stick to their day jobs.

Natalie Portman: Natalie Portman Collection

The “Black Swan” actress launched a line of vegan shoes with Te Casan Footwear in 2008, but sadly the line flopped.

Whether it was the hefty price tag of $185 or the product being launched at the wrong time before the ever-growing popularity of veganism, the collection, alongside the company, fell apart quickly thereafter.
