PARKER EYE CARE – Reception

We are looking for a personable Front Desk Representative to perform all receptionist and clerical duties at our main lobby counter.

You will be the “face” of our company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. You will also have impeccable integrity and experience in patient screening, sales and payment.

Having exceptional customer service, you know how to manage reception tasks and you take pride in your excellent telephone and interpersonal communication. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team are one of your main qualities. Insurance experience useful.

Responsibilities of the receptionist at the reception

* Greet patients with a positive and helpful attitude; provide exceptional customer service
* Assist patients in scheduling appointments and ensure optimal flow
* Obtain patient insurance information and verify benefits prior to their appointment
* Enter patient information into electronic health record and ensure files are accurate/updated
* Answer, transfer and forward calls in a timely manner
* Check office voicemail, return calls and transfer them to other team members if necessary
* Consistent and professional dress and manner
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Attention to detail
* Good time management skills
* Able to contribute positively within a team, helping others as needed
* Strong customer service history
