New call center to add 500 jobs to Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A new customer service center in Wichita has claimed to create up to 500 new jobs over the next two years.

Marlowe Companies, Inc. (MCI) calls itself “a holding company for a diverse group of technology-enabled business services.” Through further research, KSN discovered that it was a call center.

According to an MCI press release, the company employs more than 5,000 employees and supports more than 100 customers in North America. They plan to hire 300 “full-time equivalent” employees in the first year of operation and another 200 in the second year.

“During our site location research, we found a strategic and talented labor pool and real estate solution that met our needs in Wichita, making it an excellent choice to expand the footprint. of MCI in the United States,” said CEO Anthony Marlowe. “Thank you to the Governor’s Office, the Greater Wichita Partnership, the City of Wichita, Sedgwick County, and the entire State of Kansas for their warm welcome and pro-business.”

The center will be located at Towne West Square Mall, 4600 W. Kellogg Drive, in the space that once housed Sears, and is investing $1.5 million in the new center.
