LCS Promotes Executive Vice President of Operations
The nation’s third-largest senior living operator, LCS, recently announced the promotion of GeLynna Shaw to executive vice president of senior living operations and management.
She will be responsible for supporting management staff and directing the operational activities of the business to drive performance.
Shaw joined LCS in 2018 as senior vice president of operations for the rental division.
She was promoted in 2020 to Senior Vice President and General Manager of Operations, overseeing operations and sales for approximately 50 communities in 19 states.
Solera Senior Living Promotes Vice President of Operations
Phil Lord is now Vice President of Operations for Solera Senior Living following a recent promotion by the Denver, Colorado-based developer and owner-operator.
Lord joined Solera Senior Living as Director of Operations and successfully pioneered and supported the development of communities across the company’s portfolio, and also elevated Solera’s ancillary and culinary services model. Additionally, he launched an employee recruitment and onboarding service for the organization.
Margaret Pratt Community recently announced Gretchen Cole as the new Executive Director and Erin Schmidt as the new Director of Health Services.
Cole started in the community last July and has since focused on staff appreciation, education and improving the quality of life and well-being of residents. She has over 25 years of experience in long term care and memory care facilities.
Schmidt joined the community as director of health services in October and brings nearly three decades of health care experience.
Arrow Senior Living Appoints Vice President of Human Resources, Other Promotions
Arrow Senior Living recently named Candace Johnson as Vice President of Human Resources and announced promotions for Sophie Rich, Christie Masline and Matthew Enderle, serving communities in Arrow Markets Illinois and Ohio.
Johnson recently joined Arrow’s corporate team as vice president of human resources and associate general counsel.
Rich began his career at Arrow as a regional operations specialist. Rich has been promoted to executive director and will lead operations for Carriage Court Senior Living in Hilliard, Ohio.
Masline was promoted to Arrow’s regional operations team. Prior to moving into her new role, Masline served as Senior Executive Director of Vitalia Active Adult Community in North Olmsted, Ohio.
Enderle has been named executive director of Cedar Trails Senior Living in Freeburg, Illinois. Previously, he served as Director of Senior Residences in two communities in the Saint Louis, Missouri area.
Anthem Memory Care appoints regional director
Anthem Memory Care has announced the appointment of Jamie Floyd as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing.
In this role, she is responsible for global sales and marketing for 12 communities in five states.
Floyd was previously Vice President, Sales, New Developments, Acquisitions and Sales Training for Atria Senior Living.
She has also served as National Sales Specialist and Regional Sales Director at Atria and Director of Marketing and Education at Odyssey Healthcare.
Sagewood welcomes health center staff
Sagewood, a community life plan in Phoenix, Arizona, recently announced the appointment of two new senior executives for Acacia Health Center and Desert Willow Assisted Living.
Nicole Roenius joins as Director of Therapy and Melissa Alexander will fill the role of Director of Life Enrichment for Desert Willow and Acacia.
Roenius joins Sagewood after many years in the Life Care Services community in Milwaukee.
Alexander brings over 25 years of senior living programming experience and previously worked as an activity assistant for several years before continuing his education.
Lument hires new Tennessee office manager
Commercial real estate company Lument recently announced Justin Elshire as managing director to open its new office in Nashville, Tennessee.
He will be responsible for originating and structuring commercial mortgages for senior housing and healthcare customers across the country, primarily focusing on Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and US Department of Agriculture loan programs.
Elshire brings over two decades of financial and commercial real estate experience to his new role.

As a health administrator, she is responsible for ensuring safety, compliance, and best care practices for AL, memory care, and skilled nursing levels in the community.

JLL Healthcare recently appointed Alison Flynn Gaffney as President of Healthcare Division to lead and evolve the organization’s healthcare business to meet the needs of healthcare systems, hospitals and ambulatory networks. in the future.
Gaffney most recently served as interim chief operating officer at the University of Utah Health, Hospitals & Clinics.

Lorien Health Services, an AL family business, announced John Mangione Jr. as vice president.
In the new role, Mangione will oversee AL communities and home health services. Mangione started at the Columbia factory in 2009 and after serving in various roles.
