CHICAGO, November 9, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Asian-Pacific American community is large, with multiple ethnicities, languages and identities that are often lumped together, resulting in many Asian sub-segments being overlooked, especially students when it comes to representation and financial assistance. To meet the changing needs of young APAs, McDonald’s UNITED STATES partners with leading media company APA NextShark to present the first-ever APA Next Summit, an in-person and virtual event focused on education and professional development. This summit is another addition to McDonald’s legacy of education-focused programs to advance a bright future and provide opportunity, which especially includes McDonald’s/APIA Scholarship awarding half a million dollars to help APA students reach their full potential each year.
