We are looking for a marketing and operations manager who is passionate about design and able to communicate our talent to potential clients.

As a Marketing & Operations Manager, you have the opportunity to work at a faster pace than usual and see the direct impact of your work on the business and our customers. In this role, risk taking and problem solving are requirements. You will shine when you are both action-oriented and collaborative with your colleagues and clients.

You will work with our three directors to lead marketing and operations and support our marketing strategy. You will have the chance to execute new initiatives, from idea to execution to analysis, in support of our growth objectives. You will be able to conduct various marketing campaigns and experiment with a plethora of tools ranging from copywriting and graphic design to traditional publications and digital mediums, such as social media, to optimize campaign performance.

You are the face of our company on the outside, directly by delivering the message, and indirectly by shaping the brand image.


  • Provide strategic recommendations to directors through effective communication, engagement, partnership and collaboration
  • Lead the identification of key results using external and internal feedback that will contribute to the achievement of short and long term growth objectives
  • Understand external and internal satisfaction results and communicate strategy and game plans to drive all associates toward innovation, fiscal responsibility, compliance, and personal development that drive higher scores
  • Research, track, and recommend Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) or Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from the opportunity pipeline of potential and existing customers
  • Collaborate with principals to determine strategies to pursue and lead the development and coordination of responses
  • Proactively use relationship building skills and communication strategies to obtain responses to RFPs and RFPs; this may include partnering with internal and external stakeholders who share aligned goals to receive a timely response
  • Design and implement email marketing campaigns for external audiences with a detailed eye for proofreading, checking links for accuracy, and incorporating feedback
  • Make regular updates of social media content and our website (updating executive biographies, adding new press and events, etc.) while keeping abreast of new trends
  • Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with the goal of improving awareness strategies, increasing conversions and generating leads
  • Ensure consistency in advertising and communications to the public, including print, digital, etc.
  • Lead the day-to-day operational needs of our business for a range of media platforms including social media graphics, digital advertisements, brand design, mailings, websites, reports and presentations to ensure a efficient workflow


Basic qualifications

  • 7+ years of marketing experience or demonstrable skills transferable to a marketing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, graphic design or related field.
  • A background in architecture or an aligned design field (industrial design, etc.), media production, or product development.
  • Familiar with the full range of Adobe products. Knowledge of 3D design tools is a plus but not required.
  • Strong graphic sensibility, exceptional writing skills and interest in understanding design and the design process.
  • Previous experience in managing relationships with customers and partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • +12 years of experience in marketing and customer development.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability across content, graphics, photography and infographics.
  • Strong understanding of current and future marketing trends to capture new audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence enabling you to motivate staff and build strong partnerships with external clients.
  • Previous experience directing and driving compelling marketing materials that support business development efforts.
  • Passion for design and ability to generate engaging and polished content and materials in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to step up, take initiative and balance multiple responsibilities while prioritizing effectively.
