Manager, Email Marketing at Global Healthy Living Foundation

In this full-time, remote role, the Manager, Email Marketing will be responsible for supporting our email marketing and improving patient engagement by developing email campaigns, updating automated email series and cross-promoting our various mailing lists.

The Manager, Email Marketing will:

  • Work with members of all departments to engage our audience of people living with chronic illness.
  • Use email marketing software, Mailchimp, to manage all organization-wide email campaigns.
  • Work with data management team to create email distribution segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development of all email campaigns across more than five distinct audiences, ensuring our tone is consistent and we don’t spam our audiences across all platforms.
  • Organizes the marketing strategy for GHLF audiences based on the understanding of the engagement of each audience.
  • Monitors open, click and unsubscribe rates to improve engagement and anticipate risk.
  • Develops content calendars for email campaigns that improve engagement and reach.
  • Build, test and schedule all email campaigns for all audiences.
  • Works with the editorial team to write targeted and eye-catching email campaigns across all platforms.
  • Works with the data management team to design email campaigns that improve data collection.
  • Works with the research team to build study and follow-up recruitment campaigns.
  • Builds audience segments for targeted campaigns and ensures that we don’t overlap segments when sending a campaign through audiences.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest trends/strategies to improve email marketing performance

Terms:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in email marketing or similar field
  • Brand management experience
  • Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing software
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to develop images/creations using existing templates and resources, if needed
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Comfortable working independently and possessing a strong sense of initiative (resourcefulness)
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French is a plus
