Territory Manager – NH, VT, NY (Capital District)

Lone Pine Brewing Company is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Territory Manager for New Hampshire, Vermont, New York (Capital District).

The Territory Manager will manage existing accounts and strategically expand our account base. This position requires an entrepreneurial spirit, where self-starting is a must and customer service must be second to none.

The duties and job description of the Territory Manager will include:

  • Calling on a high volume of accounts in the designated market area daily.

  • Strategically grow the list of accounts to increase both brand exposure and sales volume.

  • Manage existing accounts consistently and provide accounts with everything they might need – quality assurance checkpoints, point-of-sale items, staff training, and more.

  • Setting up promotional events in targeted accounts and executing these events in a creative and high impact manner.

  • Attend and organize beer festivals as needed to educate consumers about the quality and breadth of our portfolio.

  • Improve placement conditions for better consumer exposure – ensuring that the product is placed in an optimal position, creating impressive displays, etc.

  • Work hand in hand with distributors to provide support in accounts, brand awareness and events.

Territory Manager candidates MUST have a:

  • Commitment to a sales career and a desire to grow in a fast paced, highly focused and accountable sales organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

  • Over 3 years of proven sales experience in the beer industry.

  • Strong competitive spirit with a confident personality and an ability to assert oneself politely.

  • Results-oriented attitude with a constant sense of urgency.

  • Ability to learn sales data platforms to help with territory management.

  • Valid driver’s license, licensed, reliable and insured vehicle, and ability to be constantly mobile.

  • Ability to independently lift and move crates and beer kegs.

Territory:

This position will serve a large geographic area and requires extensive travel and overnight stays each month. This territory includes New Hampshire, Vermont and the Capital District region of New York State.

For this position, Lone Pine pays 60% of the cost of medical insurance (HMO and PPO plans available in silver and gold plan categories), 100% of the cost of dental and vision plans, and provides life insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability coverage at no cost. Paid leave and sick leave accrued monthly.
