The School of Humanities at the University of Southampton encompasses a wide range of subjects offering high quality teaching in a vibrant research culture. You will be part of a team of dedicated educators and researchers. As an experienced educator, you will have a PhD or equivalent qualifications and experience in digital humanities, digital media, digital literacy and/or an aligned field, as well as teaching experience at undergraduate level. cycle and/or postgraduate. While we welcome applications from those working in any aspect of the digital humanities, we would be particularly interested in applicants who could contribute to interdisciplinary pedagogy in the School of Humanities.

You will be supported by recent investment in digital humanities expertise, heritage and resources. These include our Digital Humanities Hub, an infrastructure that supports study and research, is a hub for expertise and critique, and provides access to technologies that allow us to create and explore virtual worlds, calculating text, sonifying images, digitizing and manipulating heritage. objects, immerse yourself in data visualizations, and more.
