The IVY+ CareerLink office (formerly known as CCEC) at Ivy Tech Central Indiana provides services and development to students, alumni, and employers. IVY+ CareerLink combines career development and employer engagement efforts to meet the needs of students and employers/workforce in our community. This new strategic approach will emphasize career preparation practices alongside preparation throughout a student’s college experience. Additionally, employers will be committed to making a valuable contribution to the student experience, while receiving targeted services to meet their workforce needs.

Get your degree is an exclusive program with Ivy Tech Community College, which allows full-time employees to earn a degree through a combination of online and on-campus courses. Designed with both the student and the employer in mind, Achieve Your Degree allows employees to continue their education without financial barriers and gives employers a chance to strengthen their workforce and reduce turnover. .

“Elevate: Change Starts Here” is a justice-involving program initiative that the Ivy Tech campus in Indianapolis will launch to provide resources to youth and adults involved in justice, incarcerated persons, correctional staff, and those on parole/probation to reduce the recidivism rates and to provide access to high-quality education to support careers in high-paying, high-demand jobs in Marion, Boone and Hendricks counties. People who take advantage of this program will have access to a partnership between Ivy Tech Indianapolis, APDS, Shepherd Community Center, PACE and many other organizations.

IVY Tech is also partnering with Congressman Andre Carson for the Indianapolis Career and Resource Fair.

It’s happening Tuesday, August 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center (2820 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN).
