Dave & Buster’s in Augusta will tentatively open mid-July

Augusta could officially have its own Dave & Buster’s within the next three months.

On Friday, Dave & Buster’s corporate Facebook was queried via a public post, “When is the Augusta, GA location opening?” to which the admins responded in the comments section, “We’re looking at mid-July pending any construction delays!”

The brand’s vice president of marketing, Pete Thornfield, didn’t give details, but said a summer opening was planned and more details would likely be available by the end of next week.

The Augusta location does not have an active website or social media page, but local job openings have been posted on the company’s website. On April 5, 15 positions became available: restaurant manager, two customer service positions, two support technicians, busser, senior games technician, waiter, receiver, line cook, housekeeping, dishwasher, host, deposits and a bartender.
