Benefits and compensation:

  • The salary range is $55,000 to $65,000

Position summary: The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end ordering process, including the primary contact for our customers and our internal sales team. They are expected to be hands-on, proactive problem solvers and to deliver excellent customer satisfaction. This person will also be responsible for preparing and providing information on sales reports and analysis, trade spend analysis, price list management and customer profitability. The position will report to the Executive Vice President of Sales, but will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to ensure information is shared in a timely and effective manner across the organization.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for customer orders from order to delivery; ensure orders are recorded accurately while proactively managing customer expectations
  • Provides liaison support between customer, sales team and warehouse regarding order processing and order changes
  • Develop and maintain direct relationships with client buyers
  • Investigate and resolve all shipping issues, including short deliveries, damages, shipping errors, merchandise returns, or related product quality comments
  • Track LTO leads from pre-orders to season completion
  • Responsible for price management
  • Prepare daily and monthly revenue reports and analysis, including information on spreads and shorts
  • Responsible for customer systems and reporting portals including but not limited to Walgreens, CVS, Wholefoods, AAFES, UNFI Clearview, DOT
  • Assist in the development of the director’s scorecard and responsible for monthly update and publication
  • Other sales projects if necessary
  • Lead the process of setting up a new customer
  • Lead the EDI system and processes

Supervisory responsibility: Nothing

Desired diplomas / training / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service or other relevant position
  • Experience working with QuickBooks
  • Expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups and data manipulation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Desire to be part of a small business team supporting the growth of an exciting food brand
  • CPG experience a plus

Language/math/reasoning skills:

  • Must be able to accurately document information in a timely manner
  • Must be able to write and speak, both clearly and effectively
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Very good math skills required

Data supervision:

  • This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Sales and work with the other department heads
  • This position is expected to be able to work with minimal supervision at times and handle situations with confidence.

Travel required: Limited – Must be willing to travel between Bobo locations in Boulder and Loveland
